National Park details
Nature: Quiet
Rick bought this pokémon due to its ominous traits and mysterious abilities. Shinato remains immobile at all times, being able only to float, and shows no emotions whatsoever. Despite this, this pokémon is capable of carrying out orders from its trainer, provided they're not too complex. Because of some strange rumours concerning this pokémon, as well as an odd feeling of sickness when this pokémon is out, Rick always keeps it contained in its pokéball untill it's needed in combat.
For RP purposes, Shinato is regarded as a male
For RP purposes, Shinato is regarded as a male
Because of the special properties of its shell, which makes it invulnerable to the majority of attacks, Shinato barely moves. If a move capable of bypassing its defense is coming its way, it will disappear from thin air in order to avoid it, or generate a force field around it for protection. Its halo, from where it shoots most of its attacks, is the only kind of movement one ever sees from this pokémon and that indicates a move is being used. Due to the safety of its Wonder Guard, it attacks the opponent directly and from a distance without too much concerns. However, if caught by surprise or during the execution a move with a long delay, if Wonder Guard's protection fails, this pokémon instantly falls unconscious.
The following are the moves used the most in the National Park. These serve as guidelines for how they're normally performed by this pokémon. Depending on the situation, they may be used in other different ways.
Confuse Ray: Shoots a light orb from its halo that heads towards the opponent, which causes it to be confused.
Double Team: Generates multiple illusory copies of itself
Flash: Shinato's halo emites a very bright light to blind whoever stares at it. The light it produces can be reduced for just enough brightness to light up a darker place with no further harm.
Giga Drain: Shinato absorbs energy from its target into its halo.
Grudge: Shinato's body gets surrounded by a red aura. If a move gets through Wonder Guard, the opponent is unable to use that move again for a while.
Heal Block: Shinato's body gets surrounded by a red aura. The opponent afflicted cannot regenerate by any means.
Phantom Force: Shinato vanishes and then tackles the opponent from a blind spot. It can also be used as a means to avoid an attack.

Protect: Shinato generates a force field around it to protect from attacks.
Sand Attack: Shinato lowers to the ground and gets surrounded by an aura. The soil is then blowed towards the target.
Screech: Shinato emits a high pitch cringing sound from its halo.
Shadow Ball: Fires a black orb towards the target.
Solar Beam: Shinato gathers the sunlight in its halo. A few moments later, it shoots a beam of solar energy at the target.
Telekinesis: Shinato's eyes start glowing, allowing it to move objects, people or pokémon, at will. However, bigger and heavier targets are harder to move around, and some might even be too much for this move to work.
Toxic: Shoots a highly toxic ooze from its halo at the opponent.
Will-O-Wisp: Shinato sends multiple blueish flames from the hole on its back that will float towards the opponent and burn them.
